Astralias Israndi Mæve-it Salvere (commonly known as Astra Mæve and simplified to Astra Maeve) is a female Italian VTuber who debuted on the 16th May 2022. She is based in Switzerland. She speaks Italian, English, French and German. She originally debuted with a 3D model and later re-debuted on May 15, 2025, introducing a new Live2D model. Her content primarily consists of chatting streams, gaming, and building or crafting sessions, along with occasional impromptu singing. Her comunty often jokes about her having a "Master in Yappology". Her fandom is known as “Braincells”, a name inspired by the recurring joke that “by growing her braincells, perhaps her intelligence will also improve.”

Astra is an elven mage and former conscious star who was reincarnated on Earth following the destruction of her celestial form as a Blue Star Giant. Her rebirth placed her within an influential elven family of the hidden kingdom of Salvere, where she grew up immersed in arcane tradition and noble expectations. She resides in the Amethyst ... Tower, a secluded mage’s sanctuary situated deep within the central forest surrounding Salvere’s capital.
