During the Baroque period, there was an unknown female doctor in England who dedicated her life to saving others and promoting public health. Time flew by, and in the present day, the cry of a newborn baby could be clearly heard in a delivery room.
Strangely, what had been a clear and sunny day suddenly changed. The clouds outside gathered above the house where the cries were coming from, shifting from pure white to a rainbow-like spectrum. Vibrant, multicolored sunlight radiated between the clouds.
"Sir! Come quickly! Madam has given birth to a baby girl!" A man burst into an office, shouting loudly. The man sitting at the desk quickly rose and hurried to his wife’s side. This couple, being devout believers, had once read the legend of the 'Rainbow Clouds and Rainbow Sun.' They believed that this girl was a messenger sent by the heavens and that they had to nurture her carefully.
Years passed in the blink of an eye, and the girl did not disappoint her parents. Even as a child, her extraordinary intelligence allowed her to skip several grades, and at an age equivalent to that of an elementary school student, she had already earned a PhD. Her parents were overjoyed and supported her in pursuing whatever career she chose. Without hesitation, the girl chose medicine and enrolled in the most prestigious medical university of the time. "Who knew there was such a beautiful rose garden outside the lab?" She entered the garden, admiring the flowers in front of her. But then, something caught her eye. She saw a strange light flickering among the flowers. Reaching out to grab it, she was repeatedly scratched by the thorns. When she finally touched the glowing light, a flood of unknown, fragmented memories rushed into her mind, and a voice, sharp as a needle, echoed in her head. "You bear too much, just like I did. Eat this, and we can become one, starting a new life." Mesmerized, without hesitation, she ate the glowing leaf.
At that moment, the other researchers came out looking for her and saw her eating the glowing leaf in the garden. They tried to stop her, but it was too late.
"You saw it, didn’t you?" A figure appeared behind the researcher. Before the man could respond, his breath stopped. The figure vanished into the night.
It turned out that the garden had once been the laboratory of that unknown female doctor. The leaf grew where the doctor had collapsed from her illness, her unfulfilled desires filling the entire lab, and now that place had bloomed into a beautiful rose garden.Show more
