Astra Raksell is a millennia-old "Super Space Adventurer" roaming the galaxy one dangerous job at a time. Not really human and not really anything the universe has a category for: they are an Aurorian, a being made entirely of an ancient and elementless energy called Aurora, with a shapeshifting body to prove it. Confident to a fault, endlessly... curious, and never without coffee and chocolate within reach. They carry one persistent mystery alongside everything else: the recurring dream of a platinum blue-haired woman they call "mother," and no memory of anything before waking up in a sealed capsule. They're not losing sleep over it, to be honest, because the universe keeps producing more interesting problems for them to go after. Helping them navigate all of it is "Rak", their AI companion and the one keeping their spaceship from falling apart, handling enemy analysis, route mapping, and whatever else Astra would rather not think about themselves.
