Haiz, also known as Hai Ji (海唧), is a female Taiwanese VTuber who debuted on the 19th of December 2021. She is affiliated with SpringFish Studio (春魚工作室). Her fanbase is called "Ren Lei (人類)", meaning "Human". She, along with Olda (歐妲) and Armzs (阿爾姿), belongs to Springfish Studio’s “Monstar (惡獸時代)” project, where she serves as the leader of the... group. Known as a “sea king” with multiple wives, she is based on Taiwan’s native sea monster, the Sea Thorn Beast, featuring traits such as ferocity, massive physique, and enormous appetite. As a virtual idol, fans regard her as a “fierce (hungry) queen,” often interacting with viewers in a tsundere or dominant persona and frequently claiming to be the unrivaled ruler of the ocean. She is the legendary sea monster “Sea Thorn Beast (海棘獸),” said to inhabit the waters near the Taiwan Straits (台灣海峽). An unrivaled ruler of the ocean, folklore claims he was the inspiration for Godzilla.
