Kuroshiro Nova

Kuroshiro Nova was first a female Malagasy VTuber who started her activities on the 24th of January 2022 and retired on the 29th of May 2026. Her successor, Kuroshiro Nebula a.k.a. Neva debuted on the same day. She can speak Malagasy, French and English. Her fanbase is called Hypernovas. Nova was an NPC who tried to become the protagonist of her life. She lived the life she was seemingly destined to, until one day she realized she was stuck on a road she never wanted to take, and try as she might, she could not leave it. It was “Kuro” and “Shiro” who saved her. And when they disappeared, she carried the name “Kuroshiro” as a wish... and a promise: the wish to become better, and the promise to do better. Neva is Nova's twisted and corrupted undying hope, seeking to become her antagonist but never given the chance. A tiny part of Nova's soul that rebelled against her choice and split from her. Nova's death meant its death, so it desperately tried to maintain her life and convinced Kuro and Shiro to save her. This tiny shard of her soul grew into its own entity, but incapable of breaking free from her, resorted to taunting Nova every time she doubted herself. Finally set free once Nova retired, it decided to take on the name "Kuroshiro" as one last taunt to Nova, and tacked on the moniker "Nebula" because "Nebula is what's left after Nova." Show more
