Yet, when shadows began to creep beyond the borders, threatening her people and the kingdom she holds dear. She turned to... the oldest magic she knew: a ritual of protection meant to seal her realm away from harm. But something went wrong. In a rush of light and wind, Meddie was cast out of her own world, the echo of her kingdom fading into silence. When she awoke, she found herself beneath an unfamiliar sky. The gold her crown once was now transformed into intertwined branches and leaves. For a time, she wandered until she stumbled into Mae's Enchanted Grove. Meddie searched for a way home but as seasons passed, she found herself drawn to the weary faces of travelers who, like her, had lost something on their journey. So, with quiet hands and a resolute heart, she built a place of warmth and rest: The Nightrose Inn. The inn became a haven, a crossroads for wanderers, wayward souls, and those seeking belonging.
