Meiyaya

Meiyaya (迷夜夜) is a female Taiwanese VTuber who debuted on the 2nd of July 2025. She is affiliated with VerseLink. She can speak Chinese, Japanese, and Taiwanese. Her fanbase is called "Xiao Ye Deng (小夜燈)", meaning "Little Lamp".

Introduction: The entity refers to itself as Meiyaya (迷夜夜), but seems to prefer being called Yaya (夜夜). Biological/Physical Characteristics: It is described as a ghostly, lamp-bearing presence, with an appearance close to that of a human female (estimated age visually ■■■■). She wears a deep blue dress with a white long-sleeved coat and a... semi-transparent, cat-ear-shaped hat (suspected to be non-solid in structure). Her right ankle is bound with a damaged iron chain and a sealed shackle, marked with unknown symbols. This entity often carries an antique-style handheld lantern, inside which floats a light entity known as the “Little Ghost” (nickname “Xiao You/小幽”). Observations indicate that this floating light can soothe the psychological state of nearby beings: heart rates decrease, anxiety diminishes, and it may trigger brief “dream fragments (遺夢片段)”, flashes of forgotten dreams. Habitat: The entity does not have a fixed dwelling and usually appears in spaces where dreamlike boundaries and reality intersect, such as: Unmonitored train carriages Endless underground corridors Abandoned convenience stores Floors above the fifth in dark, unlit apartments Places in personal memory that are vague yet familiar It was first recorded on August 15, ■■■■, with sightings in both Japan and Taiwan.
